PPS has drawn a lot attention after its introduction with superior properties. Its application has been broadened further. 30% of PPS is used in automotive industry in Japan. The application of PPS in automotive industry can be classified into two groups:
Electrical/Electronics: electrical connectors, such as motor insulators, starter motor internal electrode and alternating motor connector, fan bearing retainer, carburetor parts, crankshaft sensor, air processor distribution box switch seat, brake switch, carburetor control valve, etc.
Machinery: Engine exterior parts, such as air brake piston, VVT valve, valve shaft, automatic transmission lever, exhaust control valve, shafting parts, etc.
